It’s not easy to balance office life with working from home; here are some pointers for inspirations to make the most out of your WFH situation.

For connection:
- Plan coffee dates to just do the ‘coffee-chats’
- Plan a team afternoon where you play games together.
- Plan a virtual lunch together.
- Take extra time for meetings, just a quick hey how are you doing, before diving into the details of the meeting.
- Check-out; do a quick check-out (opposite of the daily) to just discuss the day and say goodbye to each other!

For focus:
- Pomodoro all the way; I usually set the timer for 20min, during these 20min I close my ‘distraction-apps’ and get a crack at my focus-point which might be; writing an article, practicing a training or writing feedback for a colleague. After the 20min I re-open these apps to see if I missed anything, grab a drink, cuddle with the kitties and then ready to focus again.
- As a facilitator, take extra time to prepare meetings. There are plenty of tools out there to help you out with this and inform your team members in a timely manner so they also have extra time to prepare meetings.

For overall well-being:
- Morning Yoga ( I love to use ‘namaste in bed’, because well efficiency and lack of space).
- Be strict about your working hours, take that lunch-break away from your computer.
- Lunch walk, take a stroll outside even if it’s for 10min.
- Be ‘forgiving’ to yourself when you feel less productive, your overall-well being is worth more than that ‘extra’ hour you are putting in.
- After your workday, actually close your computer and put in somewhere else.
- Go for a walk after dinner, just a quick digestive walk to be a little active and prepare your body for rest.

What kind of new habits did you develop yourself?
